Custom domains are now free for everyone
Custom domains are now free for all Onset users, including those on the Free plan. You can easily point your domain to Onset, allowing your public page to reflect your brand instead of an Onset URL. Existing paid customers retain their features, and setup remains straightforward with automatic SSL certification.
Your changelog and roadmap deserve to live on your domain, not ours. Starting today, custom domains are included on every Onset plan, including Free.
Point updates.yourcompany.com (or whatever you like) at Onset, and your public page loads on your brand instead of an onset.io URL. No plan upgrade, no add-on.
What's changed
Custom domains are now available on the Free plan.
Existing paid customers keep everything they already have, so there's nothing to do.
Setup is the same as always: add your domain, drop in the
CNAMErecord, and we handle the SSL certificate automatically.
Why we did it
A public changelog only works if people trust it's really yours. Hiding custom domains behind a paywall got in the way of that, so we removed the wall. Owning your domain shouldn't be a premium feature. It should be the default.
Head to Settings → Page → Domain to set yours up. It takes about two minutes.
